The Nhulunbuy Primary School Uniform Policy has been developed to meet the needs of students, their families, and the school. The intention is to promote harmony, equity, discipline, and self-respect. It is a major contributor to the tone of the school and reflects a positive image of the school.

A uniform dress code reinforces in students a pride in their own appearance, instils recognition of themselves as an integral part of the school community, and assists in developing pride in representing their school.

AIMS

  • To promote equity amongst all students.
  • To further develop a sense of pride in, and identification with the school.
  • To provide durable clothing that is cost effective and practical for the school community.
  • To maintain and enhance the positive image of the school within the community.
