In order to better support our students and their families, Nhulunbuy Primary School partners with a range of Allied Health services so they can meet with students on site.
Private psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists visit the school on a daily basis working in every classroom across the school.
Specialists have input into individual student Educational Adjustment Plans, ensuring that student goals are consistent, monitored and tracked.
Families are also able to request support through the school for assessments to be completed by DoE school psychologist and Community Allied Health Team (CAHT). The DoE counsellor also visits weekly, supporting identified students.
