We are very fortunate to have the support of Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation who are the traditional owners of the land where our school is built.

Over the past two years, through the Denise Fincham and Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation Education Support Fund, our school has been one of the benefactors of a 2021 Toyota Commuter Bus and are providing support to improve our stage area which is vital to be used for community events held throughout the year.

Earlier this year, Chairman of Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation, Wanyubi Marika gifted an extraordinary artwork that he created specifically for our school.

The bark painting depicts the journey of the honey bee. It starts as a small child working through the different stages of schooling, gaining employment, and culminating with a job and health family life.

This art piece has pride of place in our front office and will also be created into a wrap by Big NT Print to cover our bus in the coming months.
